Sony NEX audio track not showing
Hi guys,
Iīm currently testing CS6 and whenever I drop a NEX7 AVCHD (MTS) file on the timeline the audio track doesnīt get filed with audio. Iīve tried exporting the very same file to AVI and when I placed it on the timeline the audio track showed up. This didnīt happen on CS5.5. Any thoughts on how to solve this?

Re: Sony NEX audio track not showing
I thought this could maybe have somethings to do with me choosing the wrong sequence preset. Iīve tested "Digital SLR - 1080p - DSLR 1080p24" and then "AVCHD 1080p - AVCHD 1080p24" and it didnīt work. Iīve tried these same sequence presets on CS5.5 just now on a different computer and there is no audio problem.
Oh, and if I go to "interpret footage" the audio tab is greyed out. In CS5.5 itsnīt. If I check properties on CS5.5 I get the audio info bellow, but no on CS6. File Path: C:\1 - Rafa\Varios\3 - Fotos\NEX7\Video\00277.MTS Type: MPEG Movie File Size: 30.5 MB Image Size: 1920 x 1080 Frame Rate: 23.976 Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - compressed - Stereo Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo Total Duration: 00:00:11:23 Average Data Rate: 2.5 MB / second Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0

Re: Sony NEX audio track not showing
It finally worked. I didnīt have to copy the PRIVATE folder. I used the same file I was using for tests before. Iīve dragged the file directly from the folder and dropped it on CS6s Project Tab and it would see the audio tracks. After that Iīve tried clicking on import to import the file (like I was doind initially and it worked too)

Re: Sony NEX audio track not showing
Hi, I am also working on learning CS6 and I am on a Mac, I use a XD Cam so now problems with the files, but I have a NEX VG-20 and can't work out how to get the audio to show up. So I take the card out of the camera , put it in to the computer and it shows up as a file (privet) so I tried importing that, video is fine no audio but, so I try it a few different ways, no good, so can you let me know how I should go about getting audio and video. Thx.

Re: Sony NEX audio track not showing
Found a program that works well, ClipWrap. Best , easiest , and Quick. Very Happy with it.
