Premiere Pro CS5.5 to Avid MC6 Workflow?
Hello,
I have some P2 AVCIntra100 footage cut on Premiere Pro, and I want to bring it into my main NLE, Avid MC6 and I'm having problems. I tried exporting a P2 structure out of PPro, but I cannot AMA link to it in Avid. I then tried exporting a AVC file from PPro and tried AMA linking to it in Avid but the video didn't show up correctly. I read on somewhere that it may be possible to export DNxHD from PPro... but I'm not sure how... or even how to have PPro recognize the codec... Any suggestions? |

If you have DNxHD codec installed on your system, then you can select it under "AVI" or "QuickTime" formats in the Video Codec pull down menu.
