Waves VST plugins in Premiere Pro?
This might sound like a real noob question but can I use my Waves audio plugins with Premiere Pro CS5? If so then how? I have the complete Waves Mercury v9 bundle that I frequently use for mixing and mastering broadcast audio. I don't know how to use Adobe Audition and don't want the hassle of dynamic link either. Just want to use my Waves plugins directly in PPCS5. Any ideas?

Re: Waves VST plugins in Premiere Pro?
You might try copying the plugin dlls to your premiere VSTPlugins folder, usually located at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\Plug_ins\en_US\VSTPlugins - and then just start the Premiere, to see if they will be listed in the effects. There are some plugins which employ more complex input options, like side-chaining, and those might not work properly.
However, some time ago Waves plugins were not true VST plugins, and could not have been run in Premiere. I'm not sure what the situation is now.
