after effects - limit affect of light layer
Hi
I have two 3d layers and two light layers in a comp. I want each light to affect only one of the 3d layers. I think this is possible, but I can't remember - thanks! |

Re: after effects - limit affect of light layer
On the layer you don't want to be effected by the light twirl down the material options and then look for "accept lights" and switch the function from on to off.

Re: after effects - limit affect of light layer
But I want both layers to accept lights - except that each would accept a specific light and not the other.
I was able to achieve this by pre-composing one of the layers and it's light |
