Noob question!!!
Just fyi - Brand new to Premiere so forgive the easy question.
Just downloaded the trial of CS6 and Premiere asking for a New sequence setting. We use both GH2 and 5d MkIII with different file types. Does it matter how I set the sequence since they are both 24p? There are alot of choices for the different file types. Thanks |

Re: Noob question!!!
The choice of a codec in a sequence has only an impact for rendered previews. What you are interested is the proper resolution and frame rate. In your case it would be 1080p24.
Or you can simply drag one of your clips on the "new" button in the lower part of the project panel, and an appropriate sequence will be created for you.

Re: Noob question!!!
I would choose the preset that matches the mk3 unless your main footage is from the gh2.
Premiere pro allows for mix n codecs on the same sequence. If your comp is powerful enough, u won't get lag either
