PPro CS4 crashes at end of generating peak file
Hello.
My friend is working in Premiere Pro CS4 and he has a problem. When he has imported a AVI DV file, the program starts to generate a peak file. At the end of this process, Premiere crashes. He has a fast 3GB Win7 PC that normally doesn't crash. Is there a way to turn the peak file generating off? Thanks |

Re: PPro CS4 crashes at end of generating peak file
Unfortunately, peak file is always generated so that you can have the audio waveform visible. No way around it. Perhaps re-exporting the file or checking if there is enough free hard drive space where the media cache is located could help. Alternatively deleting the media cache altogether in Premiere preferences might also help.
