How do I add color bars, and other questions
Okay, I just bought Premiere Pro and have a few questions if you can help me...
1) How do I add color bars to my timeline? 2) Is there a way to copy & paste only certain attributes from one clip to another? For example, what if I want to copy only the motion attributes, but not any video effects, from one clip to another. |

Re: How do I add color bars, and other questions
Hi Bill,
File > New > Bars & Tone This will create a clip in the Bin that can be placed in the sequence. As for selectively copying certain effects from one clip to another, I'm not aware of a method. Using Copy, then Paste Attributes, copies all effects. It IS however now possible to "Save Preset" of one effect in the Effects window, rather than all the effects being stuck together. Just right-click the effect and Save Preset and then that effect can be applied to other clips as needed. Jeff Pulera Safe Harbor Computers |

Right click on Motion, copy.
Go to clip you want the fixed effect applied to, right click on Motion and paste. |
