Premier CS5 editing playback
I've noticed something strange this weekend. I have a project going in Premier at 1080 24p and another at 720 24p. When I'm watching my 1080 24p edit in the monitor it played great but when I'm watching my 720 24p project, it plays at a lower resolution. When I pause the video you can see it goes from a lower res to the normal HD resolution. It's kind of like AE but I can't figure out why this is for 720 and not 1080 and I can't adjust it. I even tried to set up a new project and it still did it. I exported video frames from that project and the frames are crystal clear.

Have you checked your playback resolution in the Program monitor?

Re: Premier CS5 editing playback
I haven't. I just switched from FCP to premier and I'm still trying to find where things are located. I thought it would be like AE. Where would I find the resolution feature?
thanks |

Re: Premier CS5 editing playback
Thanks!! I've been working so much on this TV show, I haven't had much time to explore premier. I did see that button because it stands out. THANKS AGAIN!!
