Compatible Blu-Ray settings
I use CS5 to make movies from my Sony Z5 HDV cam and Panasonic TM700 AVCHD cam (and similar cams from guys at the film club). I export to Blu-ray with the Blu-ray H264 DVD setting in AME.
I've noticed that although the movies look great and play on my own blu-ray player, they don't always play on some others. So, for general compatibility when I send people my Blu-ray DVDs, have I correctly picked the H264 preset. l know a mpeg2 setting is available. Would that be more friendly to players? Cheers Billy

Re: Compatible Blu-Ray settings
I use Verbatim, had no complaints yet. Its the same story when dvd just came out. The very first players are very picky.
BTW They are Blu-ray disks not Blu-ray dvd's, can get a bit confusing. |

Re: Compatible Blu-Ray settings
Thanks Ann
I use Verbatum for my SD DVD's, I'll start using Verbatum for blu-ray disks in future.
