CS5.5 Media Encoder screws up my Canon XF audio when converting to wmv format
Hi guys,
just to share some experience, and check if you guys encounter such problems. I am using a Canon XF305, and my footages are .MXF Using the newest Adobe Media Encoder 5.5, i am transcoding the existing files from MXF to wmv (low res) for client preview of the rushes purpose. Footage Format: Canon MXF Editing System: Adobe CS 5.5 Audio: 2 channel stereo left and right (different audio sources, left being wireless interview, right being ambient sound) what i encounter is Media Encoder does not maintain my independence of the left and right audio and instead, mux them into a combined output. However, when i do this from the timeline of Premiere Pro, the output is correctly interpreted. Note that i am using the exact same encoding preset settings in both instances. Just what is Media Encoding doing?? |
