no timecode with dslr
Hi,
Sorry if this issue is already running, I couldn't find it anywhere.. Anyway, I can't see timecode for .mov files from dslr - 5d or 7d. it always shows media start as 00:00:00 for all files. running premiere pro cs5.5, both on pc and mac. also, if that's not weird enough, if I convert the files to prores thru fcp and import then, I CAN see the true media start and end. But again, trying to import the original files, no matter how I try - no timecode. This is really frustrating, because I shoot with both camera together, and can't sync the shooting order. Thanks! |

Re: no timecode with dslr
I've never needed timecode with tape based cameras, but can understand now with many file clips from the Canon the desire for it. So I use Pluraleyes (Singular Software). It's magic.
