Premiere Pro cut clips
I need to cut some clips and get them to my partner for insertion into a slideshow. How do I cut the clips and put them on a disk as individual clips to insert into a slideshow. I know how to cut clips for a sequence.

Re: Premiere Pro cut clips
Your partner wants a series of ready-made short clips in file form?
Cut your clips and put each one on the timeline as you would do for a sequence. Move the work bar area over the first clip and click export (File --> Export --> Media). Export to whatever media format your partner wants to use in his/her slideshow (avi. mov, DVDmpeg2, FLV, whatever). Repeat for each subsequent clip. (Helps if you make a subdirectory/subfolder in your project file and also helps if you use self-explanatory names. If you need them to be in a specific order, start the name with something like "01," "02" etc.). Copy your exported clips to thumb drive or whatever you will use to send the clips to your partner. If you are copying to a DVD/Blu-ray disk, make a data disk not a playable DVD. |
