PPro CS5 new trimming tools? at DVinfo.net

This sure sounds promising (to me...)

Could it be that this time, we finally see JKL style trimming in our dear Premiere Pro?
Also, have Adobe finally enabled sound scrubbing in the trim window?

Does anyone know? (I couldn't find any info on the so called 'new trimming tools'

JKL trims in Premiere have been long available, similarly as scrubbing your in and out points. Unless I'm missing something.

What I would like, is a simple way to choose the soundtrack listening to, when scrubbing in the source window.

Well, either you and I don't have the same definition of JKL trimming, or you are missing something indeed :-)
I'm talking about JKL trimming ala Avid. FCP also has something similar, although not quite as powerful, called Dynamic trimming.
Also, there is no sound scrubbing when in the trim monitor. Period.

Sorry Mikael, we do not yet have dynamic trimming in the timeline, nor do we have audio scrubbing enabled in the Trim Monitor in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5. However, thank you for requesting the feature in your other post.
