AFX/Twixtor Plugin question
One problem I've run into, is that when I set the speed to 75.000 that it doesn't stretch the clip out so you have the entire take. The take is 23 seconds long, and I reduce the speed to 75.000 and it's still 23 seconds long, cutting off the end of the take.
Is there a setting I'm missing that will extend the length of the clip so I get the whole thing at 75% speed Thanks!! JR |

Re: AFX/Twixtor Plugin question
Jeremiah,
PP does not allow plug-ins to change the length of clips. When you speed up a clip you get black video you need to trim and slowing it down you need to add material and make a new sequence. Here is a good video for the work flow. Twixtor for Premiere Pro Screencasts | RE:Vision Effects Help |

Re: AFX/Twixtor Plugin question
Yeah, I did some more google searching and figured it out. The trick was the use the clip properties to loop it twice, then set the project length to where I needed it. (thus eliminating the loop).
This was my first dance with Twixtor and it surprised me that it wouldn't just automatically stretch the clip. Anyway, problem solved :) JR |

Re: AFX/Twixtor Plugin question
I figured out a neat trick when working with Twixtor inside PPro.
Just copy the clip you want to slowdown two or more times (depends how much you want to slow it down) and nest that clips into a new sequence and apply Twixtor to that sequence. |
