Best setup for four drive system at DVinfo.net

Have another question on disk setup because I am getting poor performance from my intel raid controller.
I have four hard drives not including the OS hard drive. Two of them setup for raid 0 and I was going to place my media files there. For other two drives both 1TB each I have the option to put them together on a separate controller and make them a raid 0 or keep them separate. My question is keep the two driver separate and place my Projects files one and previews and exports on the other? I am using mostly AVCHD files.
