Panasonic TM700 workflow
Hello -
Anybody have experience with editing footage from this camera, specifically in utilizing the 1080/60p format? If so, would you be so kind as to enlighten us and please share your workflow setup? Much appreciate it!! |

Just about every non Apple made software can easily take in the files. For something like Final Cut, you need something like ClipWrap to to either rewrap the files into H.264 QuickTime without any degrading in picture quality or convert straight to ProRess.

I have the similar HMC41, and just drag the .MTS files straight into CS5 on Windows without any hassles, and it all works lovely. This goes for 1080p and 720p at any framerate.
That's all the workflow I seem to need! PC is an Intel i7 (860? I forget), I think there's 2 processors with 4 cores each, ordinary SATA hard disks and 8GB RAM on Windows 7, 64 bit. |
