Save a project and include the actual video files
So I have to send my project to my colorist, but my raw video files are spread out over 2 raid arrays.
Is there a way to save the project and include only the raw video files that are used? I know I could just print it out as one file, but then he'd have to refind the edit points. I use premiere cs4 thanks |

The most efficient way if your shooting ratio is high, is to export a single file to him, and send him an EDL to go with it. That should allow him to find the edit points, without having to bring alng a lot of unused media. You could use the Trim Project or Collect Files features in the Project Manager, but depending on what application your colorist is using to do his work, they may be of no use to him. Also make sure you know what format he needs, for your single flattened export to work for him, without needing multiple conversion passes, which won't improve image quality.
