AVCHD to mpeg2
Hello All,
Can anyone please give me a solution on how to convert AVCHD 1080 60p files to a mpeg2 file or anything that Adobe CS4 can handle? I'm looking for a free converter since I don't deal with AVCHD usually. I have tried a few free programs but they are not delivering for me. Thank you for any help you can give me! -William

Thank you for the suggestion Bart, but that program did not work for me. I know a lot of people use cineform but I was hoping for another option.

You could try mpeg2 i frame and see if CS4 can handle it a little better.
See settings in attachment. Cineform is realy good though. |

Two options have worked well for me:
1. Use Adobe Media Encoder and use Blu-ray preset to convert to m2t. 2. A slightly faster transcode method is using AVCHD Upshift, a program from New Blue FX. This program runs @$80. Either way gets the job done. |
