Importing .TOD files into Premiere Pro CS3

Can anyone tell me how to import .TOD clips into Premier Pro CS3. I recall doing step through procedure for the older .MOD files that would convert the files to something else. I assume the .TOD's are the same way.

I tried the renaming step and that worked in order for me to view the clips. However, CS3 did not read it. Once clip was red while the other one was green. One I could see images but they were real blue. very strange. I'll try the converter.
