you mean a tower ?
just great. I have a QFX 4800 ( CUDA ! ), 8 cores, 12G ram and a MXO2 rack + MAX, also runs fine on my core 2 duo laptop 2.93, although not as much RT clearly as a big box and I just got it running on a i7 iMac. no CUDA ( @#$@# ATI GPU ) but otherwise a very strong machine. using gigabit / NAS for media storage |

I'm using CS5 on a Mac Pro Tower, it works well except for the embedding function between Premier and AF causes crashes (when you put a clip into a Premier timeline then edit it in AF and expect it to update).

steve/graeme-
thanks for the thoughtful responses. are u running premiere under the mac osx or windows emulator on a mac? i have a mac pro 8-core and an imac i7 and have wondered whether i should find an alternative to final cut pro for the occasionally situation where premiere might be the better option. thanks in advance to those who care to share. be well rob Last edited by Rob Katz; December 8th, 2010 at 07:42 PM. |
