Encore CS4 - won't play video
This is stumping me. I opened up a Encore CS4 project which had been working fine. When I preview the project, it starts fine. I can navigate through my menus just fine.
When I click on a button to actually play video, it starts for a second, then the override option kicks in. I haven't done anything to Adobe. I tried all the projects I have, they all do this. I created a new project, and the same thing happens. I can' play individual timelines just fine. But they won't launch from a menu button. This is stumping me. Any ideas? |

For such a great product, Encore really has a terrible playback and preview engine.
I would suggest to go ahead, create an ISO image, and test out the functions. I prefer to use mount the image with Daemon tools (this will treat your image as an actual drive). Once the ISO gets mounted, the computer treats it like a DVD movie, and your default software should playback with no problems............ Errrrr Hopefully...Assuming you've done the correct links, overrides etc... |

Thank you. The project was already burned to dvd, and my client reviewed, and had some small changes to one of the videos. Everything else was fine.
I just realized i wrote CS4, it's CS3. Last edited by Dennis Stevens; July 16th, 2010 at 03:54 AM. Reason: factual error corrected |

Hey, I was just able to burn it to a disc and preview it that way. Everything works on the actual dvd. Pain in the bum to do that all the time.
