Unresponsive controls in CS5
Ive noticed that CS5 control sliders especially those in the effects control bar, tend to hang the first 20-25% of the way before they begin to follow the mouse cursor..
Am I the only one experiencing this? Its extremelly annoying. |

Yes, I've noticed this too. It's as if the sliders are "sticky". For example, I click and drag the slider control and nothing happens for a second or two, then bam, I've either overshot or undershot my target setting and have to move the mouse the other way.

Yes, I also see this 'issue'. Sometimes, it won't let me slide one way so I must slide it the other way and then come back.
But speaking of real unresponsiveness, I had my PC completely lockup two nights ago. I haven't had a PC lockup like this in a very long time. I have a wireless keyboard and the wireless receiver has 3 lights with 2 that are always on (for Num Lock & Function Lock(a Logitech thing)) and all lights were off when it locked up. I was scrubbing the timeline when it happened. I really hope its not a hardware issue. |

Oh well, if this is a widespread issue then Im more calm, and Im sure a fix will be comming soon. For now Plugins like Magic Bullet Colorista is totally unusable.. No way of making minor coloring tweaks.
Apropo... I really hope that either Adobe or Red Giant software will make it possible to grade with propper controllers such as the Tangent Wave... |
