timeline wont play

Hi all, I loaded some 24f and 60i footage into a 24p timeline. It played fine then I loaded some 60i footage converted to 24p for slo motion and everything quit playing. I removed the slow motion footage and the timeline still wouldnt play. I could scrub but the space bar and play button wouldnt work. It would show play but imediately go to stop. Other projects work fine, this one just wont play. Everything is rendered, no red lines but when I try to render again to see if that would help it says it had a problem and couldnt render. This is in cs3, windows xp pro

Try importing the project into a new one. Sometimes this helps.

I guess your footage was shot with a Canon HDV camera because of the 24F format. Then your sequence settings with 24P are incorrect. Your should use 60i, because 24F is actually recorded in a 60i wrapper.

Copy that Harm, it is actually 23.976 and that is how I have always used it. It just started giving me problems. What do you think?
