Dark frames

Hi,

I just tried to make a few .mov files via Adobe Media Encoder CS4 and upon completion certain cuts got around three stops darker. I went back and checked the original, and all looked good. I then went back and made a few smaller .mov files and all was good. So, I'm not sure what's up. does anyone have an idea?

All presets were set correctly. Just last week a made a few .mov files, and I had no trouble.

Welcome

Hey Paul, welcome to the forums...

It would only be proper to give us some more information..
Specific settings, codecs, output codecs and playback software...

Many times, it's not the encoded file that's the culprit, but rather codec issues in the playback software..
