RENDERING EX3 format to avi

good morning everyone.am always bothered about how am going to get my final output from my 1080/25p footages to dv without dropping resolution.what i mean is what is the best render settings for a 1080/25p HD footage to avi?thx

AVI is completely meaningless, it is just a container that can contain a multitude of codecs. Compare it to a shipping container. It can contain scrap metal, electronics, chemicals, food, furniture, automotive parts, or a number of other things. Same with AVI.

When you say DV, it is limited to 720 x 480 NTSC or 720 x 576 PAL resolution. If you don't want to lose resolution, don't use DV. Use H.264-BR or MPEG2-BR or some other codec.
