Multi-layered video issues
I will, honestly, not be surprised if I am the only one in the world experiencing this issue. I have a project I put together that took an entire day (about 18 hours straight). The project includes video layers on top of one another, similar to "picture in picture." Everything looked great, perfect in Premiere, but when I export, the smaller video shifts to the right about 45 pixels, (which screwed up other stuff)! This is when I export in an .MOV container, which is what I have done since 2006.
I tried several resolutions, different codecs, interlacing and de-interlacing, just about every, well, EVERY option possible. No matter the resolution, codec, quality, frame handle...the exported video would become unaligned...UNLESS I squished the video lengthwise. Then the alignment would creep over little by little. Weird. SOLUTION FOUND (but not really): After frustration, I exported as an MPEG and it worked great. However when I uploaded to youtube it showed "error." Weird. Anyone ever shared my pain? JS |
