Which one do i need?

Hi all

I bought PPCS4 and i need your opinion whether NeoHD can do effect/color corrections as Magic Bullet Looks does? Shall i buy them both? If you were to choose and having limited fund, which one would you buy first?

For info - if this thing affecting my choice - i will be upgrading my system to window 7, 64bit, 4gb ram.

Neo and MBL do completely different things and would actually compliment each other. If you want cc and other video effects, get MBL. If you want an intermediate codec to preserve image quality through the production process, get Neo. AFAIK, there's no overlap in functionality between the two products but I'm much more familiar with MBL than Neo.

Neo now comes with First Light, which is a great non-destructive color processing application. You can do basic color corrections and/or apply presets much like Magic Bullet, but it does not provide the selective control or many of the advanced effects that Magic Bullet does. The good news is that it renders much faster than Magic Bullet Looks.

As Tripp said, they really are different tools for different needs, but Neo does have some great color correction tools also.
