how to remove still cam shutter sounds in video
The content we shoot requires us to have a still cam on burst mode during a critical portion of our videos. We are trying to learn a good way to eliminate or at least minimize this sound in the video without replacing the audio as we really need original (real) the sound track from the talent in the video. Is there any audio editing secret that would help us accomplish this?
Thanks! Bill

Bill, you've got to bite the bullet on this one and know that you must eliminate such staccato sounds at source. If you monitor on headphones as you shoot the extraneous sounds become glaringly obvious and can be dealt with up-front. Sounds like you need to blimp the DSLR if it really must be so close to your mics.
Of course there are audio editing programs that can perform the magic that you require, but they take an accomplished operator to make them transparent and are still not wholly without side-effects. tom. |

I purchased the iZotope software . . . it is the best on the market, and only $350 ... a real deal. I eliminate A-C, almost any clicking noise, hums, guitar strings, etc.
