Mac PPro workflow to PC PPro
Hi all
I'm an FCP guy, but I am about to dive into Premiere Pro 4... just using the trial right now so many features still locked. The reason being is I plan to do assemble edits on my Mac in PPro 4, and then will pass on my files to be finished off by another editor using PC PPro 4. A couple of questions... 1) What HDV capture options do I have that will be readable on both Mac and PC timelines? Can I only capture in Quicktime .MOV on the Mac, or will I have other capture options I don't know about yet? 2) Will I be able to get the PC file back and edit on the Mac if need be? 3) Any other pitfalls I need to know before diving in for a purchase? I know I have the option of FCP XML export, but am trying to avoid extra hassles for the other editor. Thanks in advance Scott |
