How to automatically sync audio recorded on a separate device? at DVinfo.net

Hi there,

I've been recording audio on a dedicated audio recorder and I need to sync it to my video in Premiere Pro CS4.1. Is there an automatic tool for syncronising the audio from my audio recorder with the guide track recorded on the camera? I know there's an automatic tool for FCP called PluralEyes. Is there an equivalent for Premiere Pro?

(I have spent years doing the synchronising manually and it's not THAT hard, but it would be great if it could be done automatically!)

Not sure that there is a way . . . but, for future events, use the old-fashioned clap stick as you are filming.
