Import/Export with plug-ins
Say I open a clip in AE CS4 and add some effects to it with plug-ins(that are NOT installed in PP). What is the simplest/best way to get that clip back into my PP timeline with the effects still applied to it?
Should I just export it to .MOV or is there a way to open the AE comp in PP, with the effects still applied to the clip? Thanks. |

you need to read up on 'Dynamic Link', and check that your version of CS4 came with it.
It means you can just drag/drop your AE composition on to the PPro timeline. then changing anything in AE (plugins or otherwise) will show up instantly in PPro too. cheers |
