Importing DVD (VOB File) to premiere… problems????? HELP
We had a guy shoot an interview for us and he sent us a DVD instead of the original tape. Is there a reason he did this or is he just stupid?
I tried saving to disk and renaming it to MPG but it's giving me problems... also wouldn't this be a compressed down copy? |

Try using MPEG Streamclip: video converter for Mac & Windows. You can get it here:
Squared 5 - MPEG Streamclip video converter for Mac and Windows Be sure to use the "Batch" files option. It works everytime for me. Cheers, Jon |

CS4 4.1.0 just added the functionality to directly import VOBs. Your lucky day, it was released today.

Agree with Doug
Just tried the new .VOB import feature with PPCS4.1. Works great. Use media browser to view the .VOB file and you can edit straight off the disc, or better still, use the media browser to locate the exact .VOB file/s you want then copy them from the disc to you HDD.
Quick, easier and best of all, it works. Brett Griffin Video Productions - Sydney Wedding Videos and DVD Last edited by Brett Griffin; May 30th, 2009 at 02:20 AM. |
