Dark QuickTime H.264 video in PPro CS3
I don't mess much with QuickTime, but for a small project I've tried exporting about one minute of video as a QuickTime .mov file. The source material is 16:9 SD NTSC. The clip exports just fine as an .avi file, but when I try QuickTime, everything is WAY dark and blue-shifted. I used the standard CS3 Export-Movie, and selected H.264 as the codec from the Export options menu. Sound is fine, just bad video.
Any clue what I'm doing wrong here? Playback was using the standard QuickTime player, the latest version (according to the Auto Update feature). The system is a Win XP box, 64x2 processor, and an honest-to-god legal, updated version of PPro CS3. Martin

It is not you doing something wrong, it is Quicktime in PR. This is a well known problem. To solve it, either export from AE, or use a non-Quicktime codec in PR, or use Sorenson.
