Jerky titles and graphics - please help

Hi...

I'm having real trouble getting my animated titles and graphics to playback smoothly. They are absolutely fine and smooth playing back from the timeline (Premiere Pro and Matrox RTX). I then export a master AVI file and bing that into Adobe Encore to produce my final DVD.

Any animated graphics appear jerky on the master avi file and worse on the final DVD. I shoot in 50i PAL 16:9 and they look really good on the timeline. I export ftom there DV AVI PAL 16:9.

I am really stook here - what can be happening?

I've solved it!

I've solved it...

When exporting from Premiere I selected DV AVI which i assume uses the Microsoft codec (if not which?) but when I selected Matrox AVI everything is fine - schoolboy error

Thanks anyway
