using colour corrected footage
I'm using CS4 and have hit a wall - I captured a couple of tapes and put together a sequence, then colour corrected and I'm happy with the finished product. Now I want to use excerpts from that footage to make a highlights section.
If I take from the original timeline I stuff that up, if I go to the original footage, I need to CC again? I want to use the cc'd footage as the basis for another clip - do I have to export and then use the resultant file? I'm sure there's a simple answer - but I can't find it |

Paul... Just duplicate the timeline. Right click the timeline in the bin to make a copy then you can do whatever you want with it without changing the original.

Plus, if needed, you can also :
- copy and paste effects between clips; - copy and [right click->Paste Attributes] the entire chain of effects, motion and opacity attributes and keyframes between clips; - copy and paste clips (including their effects and attributes) between sequences cheers. |
