No output to external monitor
I am having trouble outputting to external monitor.
I am using a Canopus ADVC110. It is hooked up to my pc with firewire input which also works as a power source. The external monitor is hooked up to the canopus through s-video. I'm pretty sure all the cables are plugged in correctly. The monitor is a Sony LMD-2010. I have tried all the setting in "Playback settings". Also restarting premiere and my pc. At home I have the same Canopus and it works perfectly. The only difference is that my external monitor at home is a LCD-TV using composite video. What could be the problem? |

The problem was the cable
Although the cable was brand new, there was a problem with one of the pins...

Alexander.....
Sometimes playback out to monitor is wonky.....I personally always have to hit the F5 button (Capture), and hit the play on the shuttle, but only for a second...Click stop, and exit the capture window... Move the CTI indicator, and the output activates...Voila. Not very intuitive. Good luck!!! |
