Display counting clock
Is there a video effect in CS3 that will show a counting clock?

There is the "Timecode" effect which will superimpose the clip's timecode onscreen, but sounds like you may want just a running clock, can't help you there, perhaps After Effects? Jeff Pulera Safe Harbor

The timecode effect can be customized in the parameters, depending on what exactly you need, the a framecount setting would be benefitial. I know you can customize the start number as well.

After manually building a countdown clock in Premier 6, I read with glee that there was such a tool in CS3. Unfortunately I read that when I got CS3 a year and a half ago so I don't remember whether it was PP or AE. My guess is AE. You could check the Adobe site for the livedocs manual for both to see where it is.
