Will CS4 Import FCP XML?
I saw this video and it got me much more interested in the upgrade. I edit mainly in FCP and post on my PC for AE and 3D work. Does anyone know if the new FCP XML Import is only on the mac version of Premiere CS4 or is it on the PC side as well?

I called adobe customer support and asked. They said YES, the PC version does import the XML as well. That is awesome! For me, that makes it worth the upgrade price since I dont have to buy Automatic Duck.

Hey Eric, where did you find that out? Do you know when that will be? They told me on the phone it was in there now.

I found out over on the Adobe PPro CS4 user forum page...
Adobe Forums - PPro CS4 imports FCP projects using XML... Wil Renczes works on the PPro team at Adobe and shows up to in the forum to help us out every now and then - he's the one who posted that info. |
