Quick Fade
Hi,
I am sure there is an easy answer to this but I just can't see to find it anywhere. Is there any kind of automatic crossfade transition in the Premier Pro CS3 timeline. For example in Vegas 8 if you have 2 video clips in the timeline, one can simply drag clip 1 into clip 2 and it will create a nice fade transition between clips. If this is done in Premier it just resizes clip 2. Thanks, Rich |

If your video layer is selected and you have two clips touching each other you can hit control + D on a PC and it will place your default transition (should be a cross fade unless you changed it)

I would hate being me if it wasn't for Ctrl-D (or Ctrl/Shift-D for audio). You might also want to check your preferences. It's there you can set the duration for your transition lengths for both audio and video.
