HDV Scene Detection CS3
OK so now MY first huge I can't believe it with this new purchase,, so apparantly CS3 Cannot do
HDV scene Detection on Capture, How disgraceful even the lowly 100 dollar pinnacle & vegas can do HDV scene detection on capture, absolutely unbelievable that premire pro can't do this.. So My next Question how do you guys capture your HDV footage into Premire pro and break it up into useable clips for editiing. I tried to import some clips from Pinnacle & liquid but CS3 wont accept the SCN Files so it sticks the video in slot 1 & will only accept the audio on track 4,, not very convenient. |

Use the batch log function

Many of us here are using HDV Split. It is a freeware program that does a great job of capturing and scene splitting. Do a search on the web and you will find it.
