Exporting for Apple iTunes Podcast
Was wonder what the best way to export video (SD and HD) for iTunes podcasts is. Apple recommends the video be in M4V format. When I use Premiere Pro CS3 and the H264 setting for iPod Video Large the file is a MP4. Is there any way to have Premiere export to a M4V? If not then what would be the best format to export knowing that I will then use Quicktime Pro to make the M4V file?

MP4 is the same as .M4v
Load the H264 codec-rendered MP4 file into ITunes and you'll be fine...this is exactly how I upload weekly...our show is Bikini Driving School...and we put new shows up every Wednesday. BTW: I love SpeedZone...you guys are right down the road from me! |
