Creating a flash banner
Hi,
I have to create a flash banner for a website that is to have footage/animation I would like to design in Premier Pro CS2 - sized 1000 x171. I can create a new comp this size and export it as an Uncompressed AVI and convert to FLV (Sorenson Squeeze) however when designing inside Premier I am unable to render and keep getting a missing codec message - the same happens if I try to render as anything other than an Uncompressed AVI any suggestions for me to be able to preview without encoding the full video each time? Cheers |

Create your project in a 720p preset, create an outline in photoshop that is the size of the banner and use that as your guide to create it. This way you wont have to re-render to preview (unless you have a slow computer or are applying alot of filters). Then when you are ready to export, go to File, Render, Adobe Media Encoder, export to flash, set the size you want, go to source, click crop and crop the area you want to export, then go back to the other tab to check if it looks right. :)
