Mac/PC cross project suport?
I was wondering how easy it is to transfer a pc based project to a mac, and vice versa? Is it as simple as just opening the project and transfering media, or are there any considerations?

More info please
I will just assume that you are talking about Premiere CS3 to Premiere CS3. If that is the case then yes it is. there are some app out there the will batch convert your avi's to have the mov extension. Which would be best on the Mac. Sorry I can not remember one right now. Maybe someone else can help you with that. The key to having this work though it to have both projects in the CS3 version otherwise it wont work. Now if you are doing a HDV project it actually is a little simpler. That is if you have Cineform. Go check out there site www.cineform.com on their workflow. It is really simple with Cineform.

You can edit your PPro project from PC on Mac directly, it will open the original AVI files just fine (and vice versa). Be aware though that Mac version lacks some effects (I am not at work so I cannot confirm which ones) and output to Windows media.
