Messing around with 60i in a 24p timeline

Ok heres the situation : I filmed stuff on a Canon A1, both in 24 and 60i frame rates. The 60i is for slow motion. If I import it into Premiere and interpret it as 24 it slows down some which is fine, but is it usable like that? I remember pulldown being a huge issue with doing this on previous versions, there are novels full of arguments back then how to do it. But how about now? Is what I am doing going the yeild good output results? Or will there be poor quality on the 60i interpretted footage?
