Pardon the noob question...
...but I am new to Premiere and am running CS3. If I import a video file with audio that is out of sync, how do I move the audio on the timeline to correct that? I have used Avid a decent amount and think that Premiere is fairly similar, but cannot figure out how to do it. Thanks for you input.

Right click on the video in the timeline and select 'unlink', click anywhere so the video and audio are no longer selected and then click on the audio. It will now be selected by itself and you can move it back and forth. Once you have it where you want it you can select the audio, hold down the shift key and select the video so both the audio and video are selected, right click and select 'link' and they will both be locked together so you can move them together and they will stay in sync.
