Combining multiple timelines into one?
I have 7 individual P-Pro projects that I would like to place (back to back) in a single project timeline and export back out to miniDV via fire wire. I recently tried to bring each project (one at a time) into a single timeline. I imported each of the 7 projects. I then dragged and dropped the sequence from each of the 7 project folders (from the bin) into the timeline. To my surprise the entire sequence had to be rendered. Worse, when I when back to each individual project each one had to be re-rendered.
Is there a way to do this without having to create an uncompressed AVI file for each segment and gang them together in a single timeline? Thanks

Rendering them all out, and importing the flattened files into a new project is the cleanest way to do it. Combining them will be a massive hassle, and only to be undertaken if you expect many changes in the future.

Mike-
Thanks... That's what I did. You are right. Less hassle. Thanks again.
