HDV Monitor Out
Is it possible to monitor out HDV using a Nvidia Geforce 7300 gt?
We are on a mac and premiere does not see the external monitor to chose. We do not want dual monitors. We are trying to use the HDTV to monitor the timeline for true color correcting. Is there something in the OS we need to set up? |

Go DVI-HDMI from your mac to the hdtv or dvi-vga. Obviously the OS will pretend like it's a second display but then tell your software to monitor out through that. It's really the only way outside of getting a matrox box, it's what I do.

Yes..... at least on a PC. You can go DVI-DVI, if your HDTV accepts DVI input, or component-component if your 7300 has component out as well as DVI ports.
Can't help with the Mac software settings, sorry, but on a PC it's done in the "fullscreen video" section of the NVidia drivers. |
