Picture in Picture with border
I am having one video shrink from %100 to %50 and moving to the corner. I want to apply a border to it just to help it separate from the video underneath...even if the border is applied to its interior that is fine, it`ll only be like 5 pixels, I just need to know how to make one. Thanks.I`m using PPro 2.0

Here's what I would do:
Create a new sequence and drop the clip that is going to be the PIP in it. Create a new title, and use the rectangle tool to create a box the size of your clip. I would add an inner stroke, and then turn off the fill for the title. This will give you a border that is empty in the middle (allows you to see your video). Add bevel, change color, make sure its the right size around your clip, and when you're done just nest the sequence in your main sequence. Now you can just scale down the nested sequence; the video and border will scale down together. A bonus to doing it this way is that if you need to modify the PIP footage, you can just work in the nested sequence and it will update in your main sequence. |
