How can i get a fluid preview with 1080p?
Hey Folks,
I am trying to edit a short sequence in 1080p with 1920x1080 native resolution (NOT the HDV preset with 1440x1080@1,33 Aspect). The Problem is: i cant get a fluid preview playback. First of all i found that if you switch to 'desktop' in the project settings to create this 1920x1080 thingy it automatically select 'video for windows' with the 'cinepack codec by radius' as the default preview codec. This obviously sucks as the preview rendering takes AGES - literaly. Then I tried switching that to Uncompressed which renders as fast as it should but fails to play due to the massive amount of disk space it consumes... When i have a HDV Project i have a 'I-Frame-Only MPEG2' codec selected but this cannot be changed within the HDV project. In my 1920x1080 project this codec isnt available. Can anyone help me here? Thanks :) Daniel
