MP3 file not completely playing in Premiere Timeline
Hi!
I am using Premiere Pro 2. I have an Mp3 that plays well using Windows Media Player, however when I import the file into the timeline only a portion of it plays and the rest does not ( no sound). I have encountered it on some of my Mp3 files. Is this a bug ? Or there is a threshold encoding limit that premiere pro requires on compressed audio? Please help! Thanks in advance! |

I use a lot of mp3 files for my wedding edits and never had a problem with it in premiere, not in version 1.5 and not in cs3. Think it depends on how it was converted to mp3.

Ive found that mp3's in premier work ok but if you are encoding that again to dvd or wmv you are compressing an already compressed format much better to covert the mp3 to wav and use that
